Thousands of users reported disruptions across multiple online platforms today, including Amazon’s cloud unit AWS, Robinhood, Snapchat, and Perplexity, according to Downdetector. Perplexity’s CEO confirmed that the root cause of the issue was related to AWS.
In addition, Amazon.com, Prime Video, and Alexa also faced operational problems, as indicated by Downdetector.
